She was out of breath by the time she got there, and even the elevator ride had not helped her catch it. Running into his office, not bothering to knock she tossed a dark wig on the desk, along with a dirty shirt. "Get undressed, and put this on!" She bent forward, and put her hands on her jean clad knees before standing up straight again. She was really out of shape and--OH! RIGHT!
"Officer Lance called me, the idiot was supposed to get rid of the blood sample they had on the hood, decided to keep it--and he just turned it back in when he learned it was a mistake." She explained, "The local hospitle has your blood and we need to get it back or the world will know who you are in just a few hours." Which would be bad for him and his avoiding his past thing.
"So change, and get ready to go look like a drug dealer or something while stealing it back!"

Oliver's head jerked up when he saw her bolt inside, throw a few things on his desk, and tell him to get naked. Or well, undress. But still! He rose from his seated position and stared at the content on the desk before looking at her and trying to keep up with all that she was saying. What in the who where why?! "Hang on," he said, trying to let his mind process what she was telling him. How did they have his blood? Why would Lance want to help the vigilante? What was going on?! "You expect me to dress like some sort of bum, break into a high security vicinity, and waltz out with my blood sample?" Was he the only one who thought this plan was utterly insnae?!
'The Hood' may be able to do that, but he sure as hell couldn't. He didn't have that same skill set . . . or well, didn't remember how to act all sneaky and elusive. "Can't you get Diggle, or Lance to do this?" He asked. Why him? She may have faith in his abilities, but he didn't. He didn't know the first thing about sneaking into a felicity like this to steal something! "I don't even know where to go, or how to get in for that matter. There's going to be a ton of security." He knew he was stating the obvious . . . but then again, maybe it wasn't so obvious to her since she was expecting him to do all this!

Oliver wasn't getting on board quick enough. She didn't have time to let him adjust. "I know this is a lot to ask of you, and I'm sorry I have to do it. But it's your life on the line, and there is no one else here. Diggle is in Gotham, Roy is already in trouble enough and Lance risked enough to call me. We cannot ask more then that. He doesn't know who you are, and is giving up his chance to know in order to protect you."
"We have less then an hour before they test it, and with your arrest record you know they have you on file." Which meant they could I'd him right away. "Trust me, Oliver, I can talk you through this. I won't let anything happen to you as long as you do as I say. No one will even get hurt."
Moving to his computer she pulled out her phone and Bluetooth, before using his computer to begin hacking. "I can get control of the cameras and use them to watch you while deleting the feed so no one else can. But I need you there."

She was going too fast for him to keep up but he got the gist of it: that this was serious. And that he had to do this. Diggle, Lance and Roy -- Roy?! -- were out. All she was telling him to do only brought up more questions, but now wasn't the time to ask. As she made it very clear, they only had limited time to get this all done. Her words, telling him that she wouldn't let anything happen to him . . . felt oddly reassuring. It was only odd because to his memory, he didn't recall anything about her. Yet, there was an honesty there, something that made him trust her and believe her. And right now, he was just going to rely on that, rather than question it. He watched her already move to his computer and began typing away, then saying that she had control of the cameras and wipe out the feed. She could do that?!
"You can do that?" He asked, the question coming out as soon as it had hit his mind. Right! Now was not the time for suc questions. Staring at the wig and sweatshirt, he made a bit of a face, let out a sigh and grabbed the shirt. He took off his jacket and shirt. Something told him he didn't have time to run to the washroom to do so. Besides, he wasn't overly shy. He pulled the shirt she had given him over his head, trying not to make a face though knew that he had somewhat failed at it. "Where did you get this from?" He asked, wondering if she had pulled it from the garbage, or some shelter. And . . . did he really have to wear that wig?!

She could do that? Felicity paused and looked up at him, amused that she could impress Oliver for the first time with her talents, again. Her eyes however got distracted with his changing. Felicity always enjoyed watching him, and even the Oliver that didn't remember to constantly work harder to be faster---looked damn good.
Blinking she looked back to her computer and ignored his where question in favor for the first--because where was another story. The other Oliver never asked where. Besides, it was this or the hood, and she knew if she brought that then he would never get into it. "I can do more then that. This is what I do! Just trust me enough to let me do it, and know that I wont let you down." She would never let Oliver get caught, "I promise."
"Give me your phone." She took it when offered and set up the Bluetooth, before handing it back. "Just keep it on. I will be watching the cameras but there are always blind spots, so keep your eyes open too. Everything at the hospitable is automatic, so I will unlock the doors as you get to them. Your best entrance is the parking garage for the employee entrance, on the third floor. They have less people in that area at night."
Looking up at him, Felicity tried to give him an encouraging smile. After a short moment of silence that felt much longer then it was, she spoke in a soft tone. "You can do this. I know you can, and not because I knew the other you." This Oliver had survived on an island for five years. He could do this. "Good luck."

He wasn't worried about her letting him down. He was more worried about him letting her down, or letting himself down. Since it was after all his life that was depending on this. But he didn't want to say that. He was normally rather confident . . . but this was not something he was used to. He noticed that she never answered his question about where these clothes had come from and that made him feel all the more gross wearing them. He did as instructed though, handing his phone over when she asked for him. She was going on about all the technical aspects of things and he was doing his best to follow along. He had some experience . . . but clearly not as much as her. And that made him nervous. Would he be able to defend himself if it came to that? He had managed to do so when the Hoods had attacked them. It just made him wondered how ingrained his training was in it. Whether it was purely reflex and instict, rather than something he would have to think about.
She then spoke encouraging words, and he looked at her as she looked at him. She believed he could do this, vigilante or not. He needed to take that, and believe in himself. He grabbed the wig and put it on his head, though not very pleased with the idea of having to do that. Who knows where it had been. Right! More important things to worry about. "Thanks," he said in a low voice, still feeling unsure and nervous about all this. "I'll see you soon," he added, just trying to give himself that extra confidence about all this. He did as instructed making sure his phone was on, and tucking it in his pocket as he put in his headphones so that he could hear her. He gave her a small wave and with that, was on his way. He hurried down to the parking garage. Since he had come here on his bike, he was going to be going to the hospital on his bike. He sped all the way there, not caring about the speed limit, though perhaps he should have. He was already on his way breaking one crime, best not break two in the same mission. When he got there, he parked where she had told him to, and did notice that there were less people in that entrance. Taking a deep breath, he began to walk to the doors. "Still there?" He asked, knowing she was, but wanting to make sure he could hear he and vice versa.

Felicity worked while he was driving, and when he finally came back to her over the phone she knew it was time. "I have your back Oliver." She told him, hoping he knew she'd never leave him. "Don't have the elevator, but the steps. They take you up right close to the lap doors, and you will run into less people." They would be unlocked too. "I have the cameras down for them, and playing on a empty loop so you are officially a ghost."
"Well, I mean . . . your not dead but you can't be seen." She explained, and closed her eyes, "Obviously your not dead." Stop! Taking a deep breath she began working again. "Fifteenth floor is the one you need." Looking at the numbers between 3 and 15 she grinned, "Good thing your in shape."

She assured him -- reminded him -- that she had his back, and once again, it gave him that reassurance and comfort he needed in this moment. She told him to the take the steps, and he did as instructed. He made his way to them and she went on to explain that she would take care of the cameras. It made him less paranoid about having to avoid the cameras and keeping his head down. He was still worried though, and tried to be as inconspicuous as possible . . . while Felicity rambled. He was only half listening, making a bit of a face at her whole 'dead but not dead' little babble. He didn't mind it though. Hearing her talk made him feel more at ease, oddly enough. He got to the stair well and it was at that point that she conveniently told him that he needed to go to the fifteenth floor. Wait, wasn't he on the third?
"You have got to be kidding me," he said as he looked up at the seemingly never ending stair case. He knew he was in shape . . . but he wasn't sure anyone was in shape enough to run up fifteen flights of stairs! He hoped that if all she said was true about what he did, and his workout routine, that he could handle this. Taking a deep breath, he began to move up the stairs, pacing himself. This was ridiculous. Surely there was a faster way to do this. "Do I always run up an obscene amount of stairs like this?" He questioned. Didn't he have a more efficient way of moving about?!

"Fiftieth? I meant twentieth! . . . . kidding!" She teased him, trying to make sure he didn't take this too seriously and panic--though he didn't seem to be panicking. Though he did question if he always did things like this, and Felicity rested her head on her bend elbow while waiting for him to climb up them, and watching the cameras. "No, once you were at the top if one building, and needed to go over two buildings to save someone, so you just jumped from roof to roof."
She closed her eyes for a moment, and tried not to let the bad thoughts of how she'd failed to help him save that person fill them. He could not think about failed missions right now, so to make sure he didn't ask about it, she continued. "Then you also have a repelling arrow, to let you climb the side of buildings. Tonight we are doing this the old fashioned way." And by WE she meant HIM.

When she had suggested twentieth, Oliver paused for a moment and . . . well, it was a really good thing she had not creaed too much silence between that and revealing that she was just kidding. As he moved up the stairs, she answered his question, telling him that he jumped roof top to roof top. That sounded ridiculous. Though he supposed it wasn't any more ridiculous than having an arrow to help him climb buildings. He supposed traditional was good. At least he wasn't doing something that could get him killed. Even though this did feel like it would be the death of him.
"Well compared to how else I travelled, this is definitely the safest way too." He was getting a bit tired, but no as much as he tohught he would. Because when he finally reached the top, he still felt like he had some energy. Good sign. He took a few moments to fully catch his breath so he wouldn't walk through the doors panting. When he opened them, he entered the hall way, once again, trying to act all casual. "What now?" He asked in a low voice, needing to follow her lead since he had no idea where he was going.

When he got to the top, she switched the cameras to make sure that she could control who and what were in the halls. There was some doctors about to come out of one hall and into that one, and she re-locked the door on them so they would be stalled a few seconds thinking their cards didn't work or something. "Third door on your right, L425. I have no cameras in there so look in before entering." She warned him, "I will have the door unlocked in 3 . . . 2 . . go!"
"You want to find a case full of samples, and look for the one with the number 13218, that will be yours." Felicity was double checking the numbers, and looked up just in time to see the hall had doctors in it. Don't go in. Don't go in! "You need to be quick!" Felicity begin looking up codes and ways to keep them out or get them going another way.

Oliver was walking and it was almost as if she was here with him. She really wasn't kidding when she said she had control of the cameras. She even opened it for him! Because when she counted down, he was able to open the doors that contained the blood sample. "Are you sure you're not here somewhere?" He asked rhetorically in a low voice. She then went on to instruct him to find a sample with a specific sequence of numbers. He opened one of the containers filled with different samples.
"Why can't it just say Starling City Vigilante's Blood Sample on it," Oliver said sarcatically, hating that he had to waste time looking through so many. Especially with her teling him that he needed to hurry. He found it! "Look at that, it actually does say Starling City Vigilante's Blood Sample on it," he said with a slight smile, rather amused. He then heard footsteps near the door and quickly ducked behind one of the larger shelves. Damn it! Two medical personnels had just walked inside. And they were hovering near the door. Oliver was trapped, and he wasn't sure how to tell Felicity that since he didn't want to speak right now. There was no point being hidden if he could be heard.

"And if you don't get out of there it's going to say Oliver Queen on it." She commented just as the doctors walked into the room! NNNNOOOOO! "Oliver!? Oliver what is happening? Oliver?" He wasn't answering! With any luck he was hiding. Felicity could hear someone turn on a radio, and it was 'Say Something'. "I love this song."
After a few more hacking moments she spoke again, "And here is another felony that will never make it to my record." Then she changed her tone, and her voice came over not only his phone but the speakers, "Code Amber. I repeat, code amber" A few seconds later the doctors came out of the room, and she smiled. "You need to hurry to get back to the steps. They are about to put that place in lock down."

He could hear her asking for him, but he couldn't exactly answer. She said something about the song on the radio and he made a face. Really? Really?! This was not the time to be listening to music! His life was at stake here! She said something about a felony . . . and before he knew it, a voice took over and spoke of a Code Amber. Whatever that meant. Oh! It was Felicity's voice. That was, pretty cool that she could do that. He peeked from behind his hiding spot and saw that the doctor's had rushed out of the room. He was about to ask Felicity what Code Amber meant but she seemed to answer his question because . . . she told him that the place was going to go in lock down. Great! Just, great. Oliver leaped to his feet and rushed out of the room.
He was making his way down the hall and saw on the other end that there were a couple of cops. He began to move at a quicker pace, but as he did, so did the police. And then he began to ran. "Hey! You there! Freeze!" He could hear them yelling at him to stop and it only made Oliver run faster. "A little help here," he said urgently to Felicity, though somehow had enough sense not to say her name right now. If he was going to go down for this, better that she didn't as well.

She noticed the men behind him, and she went back to the door controls. "Just keep going thru the doors." She would do the rest. Once Oliver was past the doors she locked them, thus making sure no one would follow him. As predicted, the men ran to the door, and nearly into the door from the sudden stop.
Looking up she noticed a QC guard watching her. "Oliver I hope you're on you way out of there because I am drawing attention from your men here." Alone in his office at night. The words disgruntled former employee came to mind. She killed the cameras in the steps, and then had to pull out before his men came in to drag her out of here. "The cams are down but it will only last about two minutes before they see the lock down is fake and restart their systems." Just then his office door burst open and the QC guards came in yelling for her to step away from the computer. She stood up and stepped back, as they came forward to grab her arms, and cut off her phone call.

Felicity instructed him to keep going through the doors and he of course complied. Much to his relief, as he soon as he stepped through them, they immediately locked behind him and the guards could no longer get to him, or even see him. She then said that she hoped he was on hi sway because security at his company was starting to get suspicious. He had extremely limited time, to both get out of the building and to get back to company's headquarters. "I'm on my way, just--" But his words were cut off when he heard the commotion in the background. Doors being busted open, guards yelling, and the phone call went dead. "Felicity?" He asked, only hearing silence. Oliver cursed under his breath, and began to ran. He didn't even realize the speed he was moving at as he practically flew down the flight of stairs, all the way to the third where he had parked his bike. He raced toward it, pulling off the wig -- which he stuffed in his pocket so that it wouldn't be found -- and drove as fast as he could to Queen Consolidated Headquarters. This time, he didn't care about the speed limit. If he could get to the guards before they dragged her away, it would save a lot of problems. She had helped him -- more than he could understand -- so now he had to do his part.
When he got to the parking garage, he leaped off his bike and raced toward his office. He didn't want to wait for the elevator and once again, did not seem to realize how quickly he was moving and how little out of breath he was. When he got to the level of his office, he paused, knowing he had to regain his composure to not make it look like he'd been in a panic the last little while. Taking a deep breath and releasing all the stress, he began to walk toward his office. "Hey, I think I forgot my shirt . . . " He began to say as he stepped into the office. He made sure his tone was light and flirtatious even, so that it would begin to imply what she could have been doing in his office at this late hour. He only needed to convince the two guards anyway. Though something told him that Felicity would hate this plan. He even had a suggestive smile on his lips as he came into the office to see the guards, each firmly holding one of Felicity's arms. The smile began to fade from his lips, and was replaced with a more serious and curious expression. "What's going on here?" He said, his tone now a bit more demanding and held that authority that he naturally had.
"Mr. Queen, Sir, we found her trespassing in your office, working at your computer." Oliver kept a confused, and slightly displeased, expression on his face. His next actions were meant to further imply her reason for being here as he made his actions very clear and apparent to the guards. He walked over to pick up his shirt that he had left on the floor before leaving. "Did it ever occur to you that I invited her here?" He questioned rhetorically. The guards' eyes went to Oliver, then to Felicity, and then to each other, as if trying to find a way out of this seemingly awkward situation. Since, well, Oliver had just given them a little too much to think about. "Let go of her," he further demanded.

The guards came in and pulled her away from the computer. They were demanding what she was doing, and kept asking her about the codes on the computer. Felicity had been trying to talk her way out of it for a little bit when Oliver walked in. Felicity smiled at him--until he spoke and made it sound like they were sleeping together.
Not being able to get out of it without raising questions, she pulled from their grasps--this time they let her pull away--and walked over to Oliver. "See, I told you guys he knew I was here. I was just fixing some things on his computer." Once at his side she turned to face them. They said some things to him about apologizing to HIM for giving HER trouble but then left. Felicity sighed with realif, before looking at him with a amused and greatful smile. "Thank you."

Felicity went along with it -- which he wasn't surprised about since they didn't exactly have another good cover story -- and the guards seemed to accept it. After all, Oliver wasn't doing anything other than living up to expectation. Or well, the expectation of who he remembered himself to be. The guards apologized to him and awkwardly left the room. When they were gone Felicity looked at him with . . . amusement and thanked him. "Likewise," he answered -- thanking her too for all the help and guidance she gave him. The then went to the chair and collapsed into it. With the adrenaline slowly calming down, he was starting to feel the aftermath which mainly consisted of exhaustion starting to seep in.
"We both had close calls tonight," he commented, since both of them had almost gotten busted.Oliver suddenly realized he was still wearing the shirt from who knows where, she quickly pulled it off and replaced it with his own shirt. "Here," he said, holding out the shirt and the sample to her. He didn't know what to do with either and she most likely knew the best way to dispose of both.

Oliver pulled off his shirt, and Felicity again watched him as she changed before reaching out to take the things from him. It wasn't everyday that a man gave you a vile of his blood. Creepy-kinky. She opened the vile and dumped the sample in a take out cup, then trashed the cup so it looked like there was just leftover drink there. The vile she kept to be trashed someplace else.
Turning back to him, she watched him as he slowly came down from his adrenaline high, which was something she also liked to watch Oliver too. "Your really sweaty." She told him, thinking of how easy it would be to just touch him right now. His Oliver walls were not up and he was a play boy billionaire. Who enjoyed being naughty. Felicity doubted that if she walked up to him right now, that he would push her away. "You did good tonight."

She said that he was really sweaty and he slightly turned his head to look at her. Under any other circumstance, he would have replied to that with some flirtatious reply. Turning his head forward again, he closed his eyes once more. "That's what happens when I run up fifty flights of stairs in one night." He wasn't sure if that was a complete exaggeration, since it didn't sound that far off considering how high up his office was. She then told him he did good and this made him look at her again. "So did you," he said in a low voice.
"I had no idea you could do all that," he admitted. She may be used to whatever he could do, but seeing her skills was all new to him. And he was rather impressed. Standing to his feet, he looked around for a moment and then back at her. "You want to grab something to eat?" He offered. Ever since he'd returned to Starling, he'd been craving a good ol' Big Belly burger. And right now, with how much running around today entailed . .. he sure could use one.

Felicity did the math real quick in her head, "32 flights." she teased, knowing that it was close enough. She could not do even half that, but he had done it and kept going. Which only showed her how amazing he was without him knowing it. "Oliver Queen, stair master."
When he commented on her skills, in his surprised and impressed way, Felicity just stared at him with a pleased and proud way. Oliver valued her skills she knew but after a while he had just sort of used and assumed she was good. He never belittled her gifts, but it was harder to impress him. Having done so tonight left her feeling a high, and some enjoyment.
"I'd . . . I'd love some food." She said, shaking off her proud moment of his words and went back to teasing him. "Want to take the steps down?" She lead the way to the elevator and pressed the down button, since she knew the answer.

32 flights. Well, that was his workout for the rest of the year. He was feeling the exhaustion, but he still wasn't sure how he had even managed that. Part of him didn't even want to know. Stair master indeed. She agreed to the suggestion of food and he smiled as he stood up from the chair. "How do you feel about Big Belly Burger?" He asked. Did he still eat there? Or did he only eat salads, or go on weird diets or something? She then asked if he wanted to take the steps down and he shot her a playfully sarcastic look . . . though he was amused by her tease. And she seemed to already know the answer because she pressed the down button to the elevator.
"I don't think I'm going to be using the stairs for a while," he said, only half kidding. When the elevator doors opened, he waited for her to step inside before he did the same and pressed the parking garage floor. "Where did you learn to do all that?" He asked, genuinely curious about how she had developed such increible skills. No wonder they worked together. He doubted he was capable of even a fraction of what she had done at the hospital. "I will say that I'm glad you're on my side. I'd hate to be the one going against you." Because, well, she seemed capable of doing a whole lot from a single computer.

Felicity walked in the elevator while smiling about his stair jokes. "It's our place. Not like our place--we don't own it or anything, but it's were we all go. You, me and Diggle. When you first brought me in I remember being surprised you worked out your mysteries at a booth over milkshakes."
"So when the staff seem pleased to see you, it's because Diggle's sister-in-law that he dated for a while is one of the waitresses there." Just so he knew the history behind why everyone was glad to see him, and casual over having a billionaire at the cheap food place.
When he asked about her skills she smiled, and it started slow but ended bright and giddy. Oliver never really said he was impressed or proud of what she did but he suggested it in actions. She liked to think these were as close to the 'I'm impressed' as she was going to get. "I went to MIT." She explained, "And this was just basic stuff. You should see me when I really try to bring out the big guns."

She said that it was 'their' place and was glad she gave some context after that. Well, at least that was good to know; that he still enjoyed Big Belly Burger. At least his taste in food didn't change then. Especially after being on an island for five years . . . who knew what he had eaten there. He sure didn't . . . thanks to his lacking memory. "Thanks for the heads up," he said gratefully when she filled him in on the seemingly complicated love life of Diggle. Dating his sister in law? Oliver wasn't sure he even wanted to ask. So he just left it at that and assumed Felicity would point her out when they got there. She then revealed that she went to MIT and . . . well, that was rather prestigious. "Impressive," he said. "But that's coming from a guy who dropped out of four IV league schools." Which, she may already know about. He wasn't threatened by an educated woman though. If anything, he liked them. He had dated Laurel for some time after all. "As long as I'm not on the recieving end, I'm all for seeing that," he said teasingly.
When the elevator doors opened, they stepped out into the parking garage. It was fairly empty with the exception of a few cars and of course his bike. He stopped when they were near it, his eyes looking over her body as if inspecting what she was wearing -- though really, he was just enjoying the view. "Dare I ask?" He questioned, again with teasing in his voice, of course referring to offering her a ride. The last time he had she had not exactly been for the idea. She had used the excuse that she was wearing a skirt or dress at the time. So he wasn't sure what her excuse would be tonight, or if she would actually accept his offer.

He talked about the schools he had dropped out of, and she looked down at the floor for a moment to hide her smile. She knew of the schools he had dropped out of because he both told her and she had looked him up. No need to tell him, and remind him more of how well she knew him and how little he knew of her. "I've used my skills on you a few times." Even with her most recent thoughts, she had to tease him. "But mostly I use them to make sure you stay safe."
Not wanting him to linger on that she also went on to give him something she'd not really told Oliver before--though she had hinted at it.
