.:Physical Appearance:. Sara has the look of California girl, with long, dirty blonde hair and crystal clear blue eyes. She's tall and willowy, but there's strength there as well. Her body is a finely tuned machine, one that doesn't appear lethal until you get on her bad side. And if you look closely, you can see how hard it is for her to hold it together. If you look into her eyes, you see the lost girl there who so desperately wants to come home and be with her family. You can also see the secrets that she carries deep down inside and that prevent her from doing so.

.:Personality:. Sara is a person who "just couldn't stay out of trouble". She made unwise, often selfish decisions, such as pursuing a boy with a girlfriend while in high school, provoking physical attacks from his girlfriend and her friends in retaliation. She apparently got in a fair bit of trouble as a teenager, including one incidence of shoplifting, that her father made go away.

She also had an affair with her sister's boyfriend Oliver, suggesting that loyalty to her sister meant nothing to her. This led to her presumed death, when the Queen's Gambit went down.

It's apparent to anyone now that she has drastically changed. Instead of an immature girl who acts out in order to get attention, she's become hard and cold, a necessity due to the life she's lead the last five years. She is unforgiving when it comes to protecting her family, but she also fears the rejection she thinks might come when they find out what she has done.

.:Strengths:. Sara is at the peak of human physical condition, thanks to her training with the League of Assassins. She is extremely skilled in hand to hand combat, though she is most proficient when she uses a pair of expandable batons to fight. She has a sonic device which emits a high pitched sound that overwhelms the hearing of everyone in the immediate vicinity, and is also capable of shattering glass. They are able to combine into a BO-staff. She has also proven she has the skills to handle a bow and arrow.

Sara has shown herself capable of scaling buildings and running from rooftop to rooftop easily. She displayed impressive acrobatics while entering and leaving buildings. She is also able to quickly enter and leave without being seen.

Sara is multilingual, capable of speaking English, Chinese and Arabic fluently. She has also proven herself to be skilled technician, able to plan and execute operations that would take down her enemies. She has also been able to elude Ra's Al Ghul and other members of the League.

.:Weaknesses:. Sara no doubt suffers from some form of PTSD. She carries many secrets of her spent with Dr. Ivo and his team, as well as her time with the League of Assassins. She doesn’t trust those around her, and her motives are still somewhat questionable.

Sara is a nomad. She doesn’t have the luxury of simply returning to Starling City and to her family. Therefore she has no means of setting up any kind of support system. She has no one to watch her back and no one to lean on. Being on the run, constantly looking over her shoulder, further isolates her, leaving her with a deep sense of loneliness.

She has no interest in mercy. Sara has had to kill people. Not just for survival, but as part of her work with the League. This clearly weights on her conscience, and she worries what her family will think of her. The guilt she harbors for having an affair with her sister’s boyfriend also prevents her seeking out Laurel. As for weakness in combat, not have presented themselves so far.

.:History:.Sara Lance had a troubled childhood. Though she got on better with her mother, she was always seeking her father’s attention and approval. As she got older, she started to act out school, getting into a fight with a girl over a boy. She was also caught shoplifting, but her father used his clout to make it go away.

After high school, she began having an affair with her sister Laurel’s longtime boyfriend Oliver Queen. She agreed to accompany him on a sea voyage, though her mother tried to dissuade her. During their trip, the yacht was sabotaged and sank. Oliver thought she had drowned, but instead she was picked up by the Amazo ship. The crew was hostile, but Dr. Anthony Ivo intervened and convinced her to join him in his search for a WWII Japanese submarine. He said he knew of a drug called The Miracle which could save mankind. Sara knew she would do whatever it took to survive, so for her own safety, she agreed to help him.

Five years after leaving, she returned to Starling City when she heard there was hooded vigilante running around. She rescued Oliver from Laurel and the SCPD’s attempt to capture him. He then helped rescue her friend Sin. She stayed when she found out the League of Assassins had come looking for her and knew they would be a threat to her family. She didn’t want to see her family but when the League showed up, Sara decided to reveal herself to her father; she told him everything. She then left Starling City, in an attempt to draw the League away from her family, but not before making her father promise not to tell Laurel that she is alive.

It is revealed through flash back that Sara and Oliver saw each other again when he was taken aboard the Amazo ship. She appeared to betray him to Dr. Ivo, but then got the Doctor to spare his life so that Oliver could lead to Slade and Shado. After being rescued, the four of them head for the submarine to try and get the Miracle drug for Slade. It appeared to be unsuccessful and they recaptured by Ivo and his team. After returning to the island, Ivo shot and killed Shado after trying to force Oliver to choose between her and Sara. Slade reappeared and attacked Ivo and his team. Some of them escape, and when Slade asks what happened Sara tells him Dr. Ivo killed her, leaving Oliver out of it. Slade swears to hunt him down.

Sara Lance was a ghost. She was betrayer. She was an Assassin. She had worked so hard to destroy the girl that was her past, and yet it was her past that brought her to where she was right now. She’d been on the run ever since the League had found her in Starling City. Moving from place to place, never settling down, the last place she should be is Club Verdant in search of one Oliver Queen.

She had been minding her own business when word had reached her that something big was going down in Starling City. And when one of her informant told her the man behind it all was none other than Slade Wilson, she knew she had no choice but to return home. Now she found herself moving through the sea of bodies in his sisters club, keeping an on the shadows. She managed to access the door to the lair while no one was looking. Taking a deep, breath to mentally prepare for the battle ahead, she turned the knob.
