Felicity sat in her chair her short red dress sliding up slightly and her headphones on while she nodded her head to the music as she 'worked on memo' for Oliver Queen--aka hack into something to find more information about something, so that he can do something awesome and heroic to save the sit tonight--Also known as her normal day. With Oliver out for the moment, Felicity had kicked her red shoes off, and was dancing in her head.
These last few weeks had been intense with his night 'job', and even more so with his mother . . . his mother. Felicity was once worried about making a good impression (but ended up putting her foot in her mouth), now she was less so. Moria Queen scared the hell out of her, but Felicity had done the right thing! Oliver needed to know, and Moria had been proven wrong. Oliver did not hate her. Did not blame her. She hated telling him--and even more hated her TIMING--but she had done the right thing.

Moira was in the car, looking up at Queen Consolidated. The building where she once ruled was now taken over by her son, and whilst she enjoyed watching him grow into a responsible man there was much he did not know about his mother, or her motives. Moira was waiting to exit her car and walk into Queen Consolidated Headquarters, but she didn't know what exactly she was waiting for. She knew there was never going to be a "right moment" for her to talk to Oliver about what Felicity had told him. To be completely honest Moira didn't know what she was going to tell Oliver when she ran into him but she knew she needed him to forgive her. If Moira was going to be running for Mayor of Starling City she needed to get all the doubts of her relationships with her family under wraps; she needed her family to be as strong as ever right now.
Moira closed her eyes, took a deep breath, then looked at her driver through his mirror nodding; motioning to him that she was ready to leave the car. The driver exited the car, and walked around to the passenger side door, opening it for her, offering his hand. Moira took his hand, and said a very polite "Thank You" as she stepped out onto the curb. Without looking back, Moira walked into Queen Consolidated, and headed upstairs in way of the elevator. When she exited the elevator, she walked towards Oliver's office, noticing Felicity. Moira tried to keep her hopes up, attempting for her mood to stay strong, and not weaken as she walked towards Felicity. Moira walked into the foyer of Oliver's office, waiting for Felicity to notice her presence.

Felicity noticed someone from the corner of her eye, and looked up with a smile . . . that fated and died as quickly as it came. OH GOOGLE! CRAP! Pulling the headphones out, she pushed to s stand, brushing her skirt down and wishing Oliver was here to take this one, because dealing with Moria wasn't going to be pretty! She wasn't sure what Moria was capable of, but she dind't want to find out.
She was wearing her red dress with the peek-a-boo window in the front, and Felicity wished she was wearing body armor instead. "Mrs. Queen." She acknowledged her, "Oliver is out for the afternoon." And Felicity wasn't about to give her more details right now, because the less his mother knew about his night jobs, the better. Let everyone think he partied in the club! It was better then them knowing the truth.

Moira watched as Felicity scrambled to her feet, informing her of Oliver's leave. "Ah, I see." Moira said, pausing; allowing for an awkward silence between them. "Do you have any idea when he'll be back?" Moira asked, trying to be civil with Felicity. It was safe to say Moira didn't think so great of Felicity after she told Oliver about Thea's real father, which was none of her business in the first place. "I don't suppose you've told Oliver any more of my little 'secrets' as you put it." Moira said, accusingly.
Moira did feel a tad threatened by Felicity but she was in no way about to admit that to anyone, ever. Moira felt as if she needed to keep Felicity on her toes, hopefully still afraid of her. If Felicity was afraid of Moira, the less she'd expose about her personal life to Oliver. Moira hadn't a clue how Felicity figured out about Malcolm; Moira had a feeling Oliver didn't know Felicity as well as he should have. For all he knew, Felicity was probably taking part in illegal activities. Or maybe she wasn't as smart as Moira gave her credit for.

"Ah, I see." That was both of their troubles. Moria saw too much, but never enough at the same time. While Oliver too, kept secerts from her, his were his one that needed to be kept in order to protect himself, and his family. He had to be able to have someone who could face Moria, like he had someone to face Malcolm--someone who had not known him forever. Someone who did not love him. Moria kept them to save her self.
And she didn't care who it hurt to keep them. "Do you have any idea when he'll be back?" "Not anytime soon." Which meant she knew when he would be back--even though she didn't. She didn't want to give Moria anything right now, because Oliver didn't want her to be around him. He needed time, and so much else. "I don't suppose you've told Oliver any more of my little 'secrets' as you put it."
How dare she! "I gave you the chance to be honest with him." If she hadn't then she would be no better then Moria. "Oliver is a friend, and I couldn't lie to him." Not after all he has done for her.

"Do you know what time he'll be back at then?" Moira asked, coldly. Moira was tired of playing games. She got plenty of that from Malcolm, Thea, and Oliver; she didn't need it from Felicity too. "Oh please, you didn't give me a choice. You down right threatened me. It was not your secret to be telling. And god knows how you figured out about Thea's real father, but I swear. If you do so much as to drop a hint about Malcolm to Thea, I will personally have you dispersed from this country, or this life." Moira said, her voice rising into an almost yell. Moira was fed up with Felicity. She didn't want her sass, all she wanted to do was to talk to her son.
"It wouldn't have been lying to Oliver, Felicity. He never asked you about it, because he didn't even know it was a possibility. Now thanks to you, my family is falling apart. Do you have any idea what that could mean for any of us. For Oliver, or for Thea. If the press got a hold of this story, which I wouldn't be surprised if they did, but god knows you better run if you ever told another soul, because I swear to god I will have you banished from Oliver's life." At this point Moira was yelling with rage. She couldn't believe what Felicity had done. Moira started walking away, but quickly turned back around. "How do you know I wasn't going to tell Oliver. Tell me that. How did you know I wasn't going to tell him after my press-conference." Moira said, her harsh words lingering in the air. "Thank you for all of you help Felicity... or lack thereof." Moira turned around and started walking toward the elevator.
